Synopsis

Token is a story of Laadi, a good-for-nothing thief in his 70s, who’s mere existence is an act of survival in this world. His companion in life is his bedridden father, in 90s, whom he takes care of. In his age, it’s difficult to find daily wage work and hence, Laadi survives by stealing bags of people who leave it at the security counter of a small town’s shopping complexes, by using similar old 'Tokens'. Budhiya, another thief, much younger, helps him understand life in a not-so-nice ways, when their paths cross. Token is a film about survival and chaos, life and death, a corollary of each other.
